South Indian actress Kalpana dies at the age of 51

Dubai: Award winning South Indian actress Kalpana, who has acted in over 300 films in Malayalam and Tamil, died in Hyderabad on Monday, according to report.
Kalpana, 51, was in Hyderabad for a film shoot, according to reports. She was found unconcious in her hotel room. 
Kalpana, whose full name is Kalpana Ranjini, is the daughter of theatre artists VP Nair and Vijayalakshmi.
The versatile actress made her debut with MT Vasudevan Nair’s 1983 film Manje.
She is recipient of National Award for best supporting actress for her film Thanichalla Njan in 2012. 
Kalpana sister’s Urvashi and Kalaranjini are also established actors.
