Magnitude 6.6 quake hits southeast of Malaga, Spain - USGS

A major earthquake of magnitude 6.6 struck about 162 km (100 miles) southeast of Malaga, Spain, on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake was 33 km deep, the USGS said.
